Melt Shop Electrical Project Engineer

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel – Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Electrical Project Engineer.  This person will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades to old equipment as well as providing documentation and training on the equipment.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four (4) year degree in electrical engineering and/or a minimum of four (4) years industrial experience in the electrical field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Field Engineering experience
• Steel related industry experience
• Melt Shop experience
