Hot Mill Coiler Technician

Basic Job Functions:

 The role of the Coiler Technician includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Ensure safe work environment for their self and their coworkers
• Operate coilers
• Select appropriate coils for required testing.
• Assist in mill maintenance
• Accurately assess and verify run-out table and coiler attributes.

 Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months prior rolling mill experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of the Coilers & rolling process
