Cold Mill RT Entry Operator

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the R/T Mill Entry operator is to ensure safety for themselves and their teammates above all other considerations.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring quality of material, loading and unloading of material on the R/T mill, collecting samples, operating and maintaining the day to day performance of the R/T mill, in addition to other various tasks in the Cold Mill to help take care of our customers.

This position requires rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of RT experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• R/T mill operations knowledge
• 3 years of RT experience
