CM2 Shipping Lead Loader

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Lead Loader is to ensure safety for themselves and their teammates above all other considerations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, ensuring on time delivery, managing inventory, training and developing teammates, organizing and assigning daily crew activities and shipments, and communication with customers and vendors.

This position will work out of the main shipping office.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 3 years of experience in operations, shipping/logistics, or maintenance in a steel manufacturing environment.

• Must have proven safety, work performance and attendance record.

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, along with scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
