Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Sales Associate includes but is not limited to answering incoming phone calls for the sales department, generating various daily/weekly/monthly sales & marketing reports, assisting sales team whenever workload demands, entering and managing the claims process, and organizing customer visits.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related study, or a minimum of 2 years work experience in an office environment.
- Able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four Year Bachelor Degree (Business, Marketing or related study).
- Customer Service Experience
- Steel Industry Knowledge
- Experience with a manufacturing ERP.
