Accounting Manager

Basic Job Functions:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the coordination, oversight, and execution of Nucor Steel Auburn's accounting, reporting, and internal control activities. This role reports directly to the division Controller and serves as a backup for the Controller, Accountants, Accounts Payable, Credit Analyst and other Finance Department roles, as needed.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority at all times. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Minimum of 3 years in a finance related role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Prior leadership experience
