Basic Job Functions:
We are seeking an experienced Talent & Training Coordinator to design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs that drive employee development and organizational excellence. This role combines training administration, program facilitation, and talent support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Management
- Coordinate new teammate orientation and onboarding processes
- Administer corporate learning management system and maintain training records
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement division-specific training curricula
- Ensure compliance with all training documentation and certification requirements
- Coordinate and oversee professional development programs including leadership training, communication skills, and language learning initiatives
- Conduct assessments and proctoring for entry-level production roles
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate foundational skills training programs for new and existing teammates
- Deliver financial literacy and productivity training sessions
- Serve as certified Mental Health First Aid instructor
Talent Development Support
- Partner with recruiting team on candidate assessment and selection processes
- Support employee retention initiatives through targeted training and development
- Assist with workforce planning and skill gap analysis
Travel Requirements
- Position requires periodic travel for training development, certification maintenance, and delivery of programs at multiple facility locations.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Compensation Data
Wage Range: $26.91hour + Annual ROA Bonus
ROA Bonus
ROA Bonus percentage is variable, determinate upon company performance each year, up to 33% of annual salary.
Profit-Sharing
10% of Nucor’s pre-tax earnings are contributed to the Profit Sharing Plan annually and distributed to all eligible teammates. A large portion is deposited into your profit-sharing account, and a smaller portion is distributed in cash. Current 6-year average = 19.88% of your eligible earnings. Eligible earnings include regular pay, overtime, and bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A combination of experience and education equivalent to two years of experience in Manufacturing, Training, Recruiting, or human resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual speaking skills in English and Spanish
- Experience facilitating in an instructional environment
- Experience in building training presentations
- Experience in gathering information and building action plans
