Operator FIP Line- 2nd Shift

Basic Job Functions:

The Position:

Foam Injected Product Operators (FIP) are responsible for ensuring the proper operation of equipment utilized in the production of foam-injected products.

(Note: 2nd Shift FIP Operators are trained on 1st Shift until training completion)

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain equipment used in the production of foam-injected products
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and identify any issues that arise
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards
• Complete necessary documentation and paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year of previous general labor and/or machine operator experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• 2 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial machines
