Inside Sales Representative

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel West Virginia is seeking an Inside Sales Representative. This teammate will be responsible for managing customer accounts and providing excellent customer service with strong customer and internal relationships. This teammate will work with inside sales, outside sales, production, shipping, finance, and IT teams as well as other duties as assigned. The Inside Sales Representative will work in-person Monday through Friday, will be required to travel overnight as needed, and will work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Nucor Steel West Virginia’s greenfield project is a new state-of-the-art sheet steel mill that will produce up to 3 million tons per year once fully operational. This advanced manufacturing facility is to be located onsite in Mason County, along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead an uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. 

Minimum Qualifications:

•   Two (2) years inside sales experience (or equivalent internship)
•   Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field (or equivalent experience) 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of flat rolled steel making and the steel industry
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Account management experience
