Purlin Line Operator 3rd Shift

Basic Job Functions:

1. Operate Purlin Line, perform tooling set up and manage Purlin Line inventory.
2. Quality inspections of material and finished parts within area.
3. Read and interpret shop drawings.
4. Perform tasks as directed by the line Supervisor or Group Leader.
5. Understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Trouble shooting skills.
2. Roll Forming experience.
