Basic Job Functions:

The Components Coordinator assists in growing the company sales and profit effort by driving and leading the commercial and operational efforts within the facility Components Department. Day to day functions include:

 

  • The Components Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Sales Service Manager, Production Supervisors, Components Technician, and NFP divisions to develop and implement sales growth strategies for the components business.
  • Area of focus include, but is not limited to, marketing and sales, cross-channel selling, quoting, order processing, technical support, developing tools and process, and service after the sale.
  • The Components Coordinator will work to balance the needs of the customer with the needs and efficiencies of our internal departments to help maximize NBG resources while still satisfying the customer’s requirements.
  • Drive component sales by developing relationships with other NFP divisions, maximize Nucor’s value to the market, and take care of our customers by effective cross channel selling.
  • The Components Coordinator will be required to travel to sales meetings, customer offices and jobsites.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent
  • Prior experience working directly with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
