Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Responsible for continuous development and growth of the Nucor Buildings Group SC sales operations in the assigned region. Staff, train, develop, coach, supervise and lead the sales team. Lead Builder recruiting/retention strategies and overall sales growth and market penetration goals. Contribute as a member of the Nucor Buildings Group SC leadership team to continually improve operating results, market competitiveness and customer preference.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma
  2. 3 years in a Sales, Customer Relations or Customer Service role
  3. Strong commitment to Safety and Quality in all job aspects.
  4. Ability to develop and lead a sales team to meet Division goals.
  5. Excellent organizational skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills: speaking, listening & written.
  7. Strong ability to work well and contribute effectively in a team environment across the entire Nucor organization.
  8. Proficiency in utilizing computer and IT resources.
  9. Exhibits the Nucor culture and the ability to promote it to others.
  10. Strong ability in negotiation and relationship building.
  11. A focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Business, Construction or Engineering.
  2. Leadership experience.
  3. Metal Building experience.
