UTILITY OPERATOR - 2ND

Basic Job Functions:

• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
• Learn select different structural line positions to the point where you can effectively cover as needed.
• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Line Supervisor and/or Line Group Leader.
• Understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience within metal building system fabrication.
