Basic Job Functions:

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Comply with all Nucor safety policies and Procedures.
  • Ensuring panel aesthetics meet NIPG’s documentations and documenting finished products with pictures.
  • Ensure product dimensions are within specified tolerance and performing a fit test to ensure proper panel engagement.
  • Acceptance of incoming coil sample testing ensuring piece within tolerance before productions. (Steel, Plastics, Chemicals, etc.)
  • Understand and perform internal & external calibration on all test equipment to ensure testing accuracy.
  • Able to operate power equipment. (Band saws, Handheld Drills, etc.)
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Must be able to effectively use a computer and have intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and email and basic proficiency in the rest of MS Office.
  • Must have good mathematics skills, the ability to accurately use a tape measure, and be knowledgeable in both US and metric measurement systems.
  • Must have visual acuity, discernment of color and texture, and finger dexterity.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Be able to lift from varying heights and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Minimum 1-year experience working directly in a Quality role 3 years manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to use tools, equipment, machinery, and linear inspection instruments.
