Basic Job Functions:

The role of the District Sales Manager is to lead the sales and marketing efforts for Kirby Building Systems in a given district to accomplish the overall goals and directives established by the Sales Manager and Management team, while taking care of our customers by creating focus on safety, quality, cost, service and productivity.  Position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  District Sales Managers are required to live in their district or be willing to relocate.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 years metal building industry experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Live in the district or be willing to relocate.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.  
  • Knowledge of construction materials & methods.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Engineering or Construction Services desirable.
  • Previous outside sales experience in the metal building industry.
