Rebar Fabricator/General Production 3rd Shift

Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

3rd Shift Rebar Fabricator

PURPOSE:

Load Trucks  with rebar with a forklift  from list(s).

Empty out shop straight bars and some bent bar

Keep yard organized.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

• Must adhere to Harris Rebar’s safety programs and standards.
• Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar’s vision and values.
• Safely drive a forklift
• Tie bundles
• Move long bars and stack bundles evenly.
• Keep bar removed from shop organized in lot.
• Count out stock correctly
• Keep lot clean and organized
• Be able to read tags and bar-lists and understand the shapes
• Good math skills
