Basic Job Functions:

The Finance Coordinator responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in weekly, monthly and yearly functions in Finance Department including HR/payroll, purchasing, and accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.)
  • Data entry into various systems such as ROSS, Oracle, ETQ, SAP, etc.
  • General office duties; such as filing, copying, scanning, scheduling, ordering office supplies, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist in coordinating division-wide initiatives


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of college or equivalent experience in business related duties,
  • Strong communications, administrative and organizational skills
  • No relative working at the Nucor Steel Marion Division. (Nucor Corporation Personnel Policy No. 21 B. 3)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communications, administrative and organizational skills
