Samples Technician

Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs withing Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. 

This teammate reports to the Shipping Supervisor and is responsible for the safe production and distribution of insulated metal panel samples. This includes ensuring the sample is a great representation of the product NIPG provides, and that the sample can be completed and delivered within the appropriate timeframe. Must be someone who enjoys working with their hands and is capable and comfortable using power and hand tools. The teammate must be able to stay organized and keep a proper and accurate inventory of product and material. Effective and professional communication must be kept across all levels of the organization. This position requires prolonged standing and regularly walk, carry, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience working with power tools (band saw, Dremel, belt and circular sanders, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the presentation of marketing products
