Market Research Analyst

Basic Job Functions:

The market analyst is responsible for review and interpret market trends, customer experience, competitors’ activities, and providing data driven insights to guide market tactics for our company. This role will be required to independently gather data, write detailed reports on findings, identify new markets, and advise upper management on commercial strategies. Requirements for this role include ability to work to discover and analyze relevant datapoints from various sources, translate findings into actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to act on new findings.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Analytical, evaluative and data-driven mindset
• Ability to pursue the unknown and discover new trends and datapoints
• Advanced ability to present market analysis reports to relevant stakeholders
• Communication skills, written and verbal
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to independently keep abreast of industry trends
• Bachelor or associates in marketing, data analytics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a market analysis or market research
• Experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry
• Experience in collaborating on commercial strategies with sales, pricing, and marketing departments
