Accountant

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Insulated Panel Group is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accountant.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to (1) Assisting with the month end close procedures, (2) Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, (3) Assisting with monthly reporting, (4) Assisting with fixed assets, tracking of CEA process, and placing assets in services, (5) Maintaining and continuously improving the internal control structure.  Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
• Microsoft Office experience
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters of Business Administration or CPA
• Manufacturing accounting experience
