Basic Job Functions:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support on all Human Resources matters including but not limited to payroll administration (including related accounting functions), benefit administration, recruiting, corporate and government reporting, supporting the Nucor Corporation Scholarship program, legal compliance, policy administration; HRIS support, and coordinating company events. The successful candidate must have the ability to maintain confidential information to the highest degree. Managing multiple projects and priorities is crucial to this role. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or related field 
  • No relatives employed at the Nucor Steel Kingman, LLC division (Nucor Corporation Policy # 21).
  • Must be willing/able to work a flexible schedule as needed
  • Some travel is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possesses SHRM-CP/PHR certification
  • Human Resources and payroll experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing organization with federal sub-contractor status
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
