Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Credit Administrator includes but is not limited to processing credit inquiries and credit applications, maintaining all credit files and correspondence, interacting with Customers/Sales/Credit to ensure overall customer satisfaction. This person will also assist with Credit/Collections and Accounts Receivable duties as necessary.  The training for this position will prepare you for future growth opportunities within Nucor.


 Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2 years  business related degree  or 2 years work experience in accounting or finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2 years credit or collections experience
  2. A four year degree or higher in business
