Basic Job Functions:

  • Maintain general ledger and all entries to the general ledger.
  • Coordinate document retention and all responses to internal and external audits and Corporate Reports.
  • Update and analyze weekly profit projections.
  • File all sales and use tax returns timely.
  • Maintain inventory records to support G/L inventory balances.
  • Provide assistance to other departments needing financial information.
  • Coordinate the closing of the books each fiscal month-end.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for division, Corporate and government requests.
  • Locate and analyze anomalies in the financial statements, BomsNet and Great Plains.
  • Prepare spreadsheet analyses and reports using MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Secure and maintain petty cash.
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
  • Assist Controller and division leadership with projects as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or CMA
  • Prior accounting/financial experience in manufacturing environment
