Basic Job Functions:

The Sales Rep’s primary responsibility is to maximize the long-term success of Nucor by helping create & implement a market strategy, building strong/engaged partnerships, and supporting our team (bid coordination, estimating, order set-up, customer service, etc.).  This role calls for a high level of collaboration with sales and non-sales teammates across the entire Vulcraft/Verco Group in order to drive enterprise-wide results.  The Sales Rep must be willing and able to travel.


Safety is the most important aspect of all Nucor jobs, therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Willingness & ability to relocate to Columbia, SC; or Tampa, FL; or Greensboro, NC; or Baltimore, MD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, SAP, and NuBid
  • Two or four year degree in business, sales, marketing, construction management, engineering, or related field
  • Mobility for future advancement opportunities within Nucor
  • Two years experience in the steel and/or construction industry
