Compensation/Benefits:
The Co-op will last for 8-9 weeks minimum. Co-ops will work 40 hours a week, earn a competitive wage, and will be provided a $250 weekly net housing stipend.
Basic Job Functions:
- The Project Engineering Co-Op will update equipment layouts and machine drawings in AutoCAD
- The Co-Op will review machine specifications with on-site personnel and document the specifications in Excel
- The position includes occasional escorted visits to Cincinnati-area processing sites
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Co-op candidates must be in a full-time accredited bachelor's or technical degree program with concentration in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong MS Excel and PC configuration skills desired
- Strong CAD skills desired
