BI Developer

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Business Technology is seeking qualified applicants for the position of a BI Developer to join their Nucor Business Technology team. This position is responsible for designing and developing modern reports and dashboards to support business decision making across Nucor. This position will be required to support the availability and performance of these visualizations to ensure a consistent and reliable BI experience.

This is a Charlotte-based, full-time position with the Nucor Business Technology Team.

Willingness to travel periodically and domestically is required to satisfy project or training demands.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years BI experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI based on industry standards and best practices
• Experience using DAX queries and functions in Power BI
• Experience developing and implementing security models in Power BI with row level security

Preferred Qualifications:

• ​​​​​​Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• Experience working in MS Azure BI and Data Stack
• Working knowledge of Power BI administration
