Basic Job Functions:

• Provide exceptional HR support by supporting and reflecting the organization’s mission, core values, and objectives
• Maintain and ensure company compliance by reviewing and updating policies and procedures; monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records
• Provide support and guidance to leadership across the full range of HR related issues including disciplinary actions, coaching, policy interpretation, etc.
• Own all aspects of benefits administration and processing, as well as facilitate resolution to benefit issues between employee and insurance provider
• Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing job applicants, reviewing resumes, evaluating applicant skills and making recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications
• Assist in the onboarding of new employees, process new hire paperwork, and facilitate new hire orientations
• Point of contact for employees on HR related inquiries
• Administer Employee Service Award Program
• Coordinate claims processing between company and Worker’s Compensation Insurance carrier
• Possess strong level of discretion to manage confidential information
•Set up and maintain up-to-date personnel and separate medical files for all employees
•Backup & assist payroll analyst in weekly processing and balancing of payroll, including detailed reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline
• 3+ years HR experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience SAP/SuccessFactors software
• Superior verbal, written and presentation skills along with strong interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and procedures (COBRA, FMLA, and related State and Federal regulations)
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
