District Sales Manager

Basic Job Functions:

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

 

Responsibilities of the District Sales Manager may include but are not limited to:

 

    •Grow and maintain relationships with Key and Target accounts in the region
    •Locate new strategic sales opportunities; selling deeper in the channel to market
    •Accurately forecast customer activity with an eye on industry trends
    •Partner with Inside Sales Representatives to proactively solve problems and ensure alignment to company goals
    •Currently, terriotry will cover Illinois and Wisconsin
 
Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor degree AND two years of experience in outside sales in an industrial sales-related field including experience with customer service OR five years experience in outside sales in an industrial sales-related field. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•Sales or leadership experience in steel or related industry
