Accountant

Basic Job Functions:

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited, General ledger accounting, Month-end closing and financial report preparation, Tax reporting, Internal control processes, Problem solving and root cause analysis, Ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations are followed, and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
