NSTCL Roll Shop Lead

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Roll Shop Lead is responsible for the safety of the Roll Shop Team and all team members in the Roll Shop Area.  Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinate housekeeping and safety efforts; train and develop team members; scheduling the team to meet production needs; assist maintenance as necessary; coordinate operations with the Rolling Mill and assist rolling mill supervisors; and to monitor costs of Roll Shop department.  The Roll Shop Lead will also be responsible in monitoring and managing roll inventories.  Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site within our Quality Control System. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Roll Shop experience or 1 year of experience in a leadership role
