Basic Job Functions:
Skyline Steel, LLC, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Office Administrator. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Telephone coverage including screening and transferring calls
- Greeting and assisting visitors and guests
- Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries
- Assisting in scheduling meetings and making travel and dinner arrangements as needed
- Ordering and maintaining supplies and marketing items
- Working with marketing to coordinate tradeshows, and other items/events as needed
- Organizing company events and charitable activities
- Maintaining and restocking office break areas
- Facilities administration
- Other administrative and clerical duties as needs arise
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ Years’ experience using Outlook, Word, Excel
- 1+ Years’ office experience in an administrative role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience planning and hosting events and/or meetings
- Experience as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager
