Basic Job Functions:

Skyline Steel, LLC, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Office Administrator. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
 

  • Telephone coverage including screening and transferring calls
  • Greeting and assisting visitors and guests
  • Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries
  • Assisting in scheduling meetings and making travel and dinner arrangements as needed
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies and marketing items
  • Working with marketing to coordinate tradeshows, and other items/events as needed
  • Organizing company events and charitable activities
  • Maintaining and restocking office break areas
  • Facilities administration
  • Other administrative and clerical duties as needs arise

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  1+ Years’ experience using Outlook, Word, Excel
  • 1+ Years’ office experience in an administrative role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience planning and hosting events and/or meetings
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager
