NSNE Chief Metallurgical Supervisor

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Nebraska is seeking a Chief Metallurgical Supervisor.  This position is responsible for leading our Quality Department and for developing an effective strategy to incorporate all departments to achieve the division’s quality goals.  Acting as a technical resource, this position will be directly involved in product development, customer claims, product inquiries, failure analysis, and supporting the production teams.  Acting as a leader, this position will oversee the quality department and liaison with all metallurgists at the division.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
