Shipping Port Crane Operator

Basic Job Functions:

 The successful candidate for this role will be a positive problem solver, who demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement of NYS Safety Culture, with responsibilities including but not limited to, all NYS Port activities, loading barges, regularly inspecting and minor repairs of equipment and port cars, and oversight of all Port Personnel. The Port Crane Operator will work in extreme weather conditions, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
